AyreWolf ’s Wolf Prowl

So there I was this morning, watching TV , the E channel, and right after the show I was a watchin comes this infomercial about a product called , the Brazilian Butt Lift. Butt Lift? I could think of a ton of names to call something, but Butt Lift? Okay, then others think I have an evil carnal mind. The marketing director of this company , must have known this was aiming at a soft porn term at best, but then I guess it depends on how much money your willing to pay that dictates decency. That said if the fashion industry and so on is going after plus sizes and saying that even big is beautiful, makes you wonder why sooo many are into dropping to size 6. Tyra Banks caught hell over the past few days over some promo for ANTM with an applicant with a waste that only took two small hands to circle. Talking about being thin or at least healthier, I’m taking on much more weight than I’d like. While I do some home personal PT, its not doing much, so rolling over to Gold’s Gym in Twin to see what can be done. Loose my pot gut and reduce my butt size, plus build some pecs so I look up to spec.

Myths are made to be broken or at least some ideas of what is, rather than what could be. I/e ; used to be said that models are to be tall. I will not say it was just us at SSX Media, but I wont say it wasn’t either. We began saying put some meat on the legs and so what if the gal is a bit on the petite , camera will elongate the look as well as some photo work , can make even the shortest, slightly plump model talent look good. Over the years Southern Steele Xpress Media has set the standards boldly doing what few dared before, but after we did it, the whatever it was that was dangerous waters to wade through by the other local media found those waters were not as choppy as the mainstream media thought. In fact much of it was acceptable. Speaking of media.

Yesterday had a conference call with 8-Ball and his boss who owns a rather large commercial production firm, whose clients include Ford, GM, Larry Miller, and even Maverick stores. His boss is looking to do a merge with us at SSX Media in doing not only ads for AyreWolfFM and KDXC, but featuring us here in the AyreWolvez on a few of the productions they do. I fact working up a weekly TV show based on us. I think our time has arrived. Now I’m going to hear growls and tears from some local government and community leader types asking why did we not use a local firm to do this? Why did we not use local people in the productions, and so on? The fact is Nurse GoodBody was the only one that truly stepped up, stepped out and is willing to go the distance. In fact Ellie May, is in demand all over the region. I’d be willing to bet in time that Ellie May will be on the Oscar Awards very soon for a few of the gigs she’s been in. The fact that Ellie May stepped up to work with us, means she wants it. not just sitting at home wishing. Many more could have, been there. Could still be, but its one thing to say you want to be there, its another to really do what it takes to realize it, and make it happen. As we have seen on many episodes of ANTM as well as the Ultimate Coyote Talent Search on CMT, for the Coyote Ugly Saloon. Its not just our Idaho locals, nationally, many women search out the need for fame, but just do not have the juice or real want to get there. Nurse GoodBody impressed me from the first phone call. Not taking anything away from Emmie Lou but Ellie May, on our first phone interview , when I said I needed to see her in nylon hose, did not ask why, or fudge in the least, only asked did I want to see her in stockings or Pantyhose . When she did arrive, there was no hesitation when I wanted to do a test shot of nose and lips to toes in hose. Off came the heels and it was a done deal. More over Ellie May drove over from Jerome, to Gooding, to a lonely radio studio at near midnight on some seriously bad winter roads, without even any restrictions. She Did not need her hubby, boyfriend or other male BFF she came over did the work, and it was because of her that we as a club, me as a person, SSX Radio was within milliseconds of going to a $200,000.00 per month income. It was only because good old Strickland had too narrow a vision that pulled that plug. In October the gear gets back in my hands, the office/studio in Buhl will be ready, and on November 1st SSX Radio goes back into and on the air, both online as well as over the air(OTA).

Yesterday pulling out of Riddley’s Food store here, cussed out this old fart for not using his turn signal. When I myself coming out of the lot , I also never used my turn signal, should byte thy lip before opening jowls huh? Same thing which brings me to what I started with this morning. Saw I don’t know how many , really big butt’d women particularly Mexicans coming out of the store, thinking that isn’t it amazing that except for a can bigger than fuel tanks on a Kenworth, most Mexican women look good. Its that fat ass that makes one pass. Then I looked at myself and thought, “boy ya’ll should not talk, your butt is big too” Which getting back on the pure organic diet from Nurse GoodBody, and some better more aggressive PT, should be back to my 180 pound status.

Last butt not least, on the subject of building stuff where it don’t belong, not only is a Muslim building a terrorist HQ , disguised as a Mosque in NYC at the site of ground zero of 911, but now some Yankee’s are wanting to build a Casino on the site where a major battle of the war tween the states was fought at Gettysburg PA. Calling it the Mason/Dixon Casino. If this don’t get your gray blood flowing.

Fighting for RTV in Idaho and the Mountain West

It was a cold day in Bliss Idaho that afternoon in June when I first tuned in. The fact that I had not bought a new digitally capable TV and the fact that the price of satellite TV was hideous together with the fact that the last major programming analog TV station signal bit the sand, I was in need of good TV. Which is what I found. Not only the fact that RTV >>> Delivered the TV show that rendered our groups name, my tag on radio and UCSMC Aviator call sign , as well as BlackSheep Squadron, but most except two of my all time TV shows. From the A-Team, to KnightRider to Emergency, here were shows I grew up with, most if not all without all the sex, drugs and guns that way too many today have. Now that I now live here in Buhl, 25 miles south of Bliss, Idaho, I have cable TV that while good does not have the spunk of RTV. Every weekday morning, at 11:00 hours I unplug my cable from the back of my TV, reinstall my rabbit ears and watch Airwolf, and later in the evening Emergency. Just love that old Dodge paramedic rig , old squad 51, which is what started the many fire departments to display a unit or designation of 51 on their rigs. Any mile. From one end of Idaho in Boise one can watch RTV on channel 2, on the east end one can watch RTV on CH-15, on Cable-One’s cable system. But in Twin Falls the only way to watch is on rabbit ears, and its snowy at best on ch-27. Why Cable-One of the Twin Falls area can’t put CH 27 KBAX on their system is beyond me, since they have 6 channels even on basic and expanded basic cable that are or have went off air or as we in media call going dark. KBAX and I ask the question, but get the run around. But I am fighting, for the network that like Goody’s Headache powders , costs less, but works or is better than those bigger brands/. In Utah RTV is nearly none existent. In a year or so, our Utah branch will be up with our TV station based out of Wendover Utah, and will be running , yep you got it RTV. I can’t think of any other network or advertising value that a company, big or small could get than RTV, that’s why we are there.

Yes knows Retro, and so do we. And we fight and are loyal to RTV. You should be too. If you agree, get on the phone, send letters, emails , even stop by Cable One’s Twin Falls Idaho office, and demand that they put on channel 27 our RTV station here on their system.

 is not only Retro TV, RTV is good TV. Just wish they’d put the Dukes-of-Hazzard and B.J. & The Bear on RTV. Hopefully in time they will but what RTV does air is a real thrill.

Geographically Challenged

Pledging allegiance to the Confederacy can have some backfires here in the battlefields of Yankees and even the more severely conservative Mountain West, especially Idaho. But even so, and just when you think we are about to sink, rays of light appear that raise spirits here. Even with the set back of Cable One pulling the plug on one of our marketing projects, we get the door reopened by both the Boise RTV affiliate as well as RTV itself, not bad since that’s where those who are into what we are all about as an organization are into and all about. Then when there seems to be a serious boot dragging of productions in rural Idaho to doing up the promo ads for the radio gig for TV, we get the upbeat heat which is good, from Utah saying we are in. Plus willing to feature our radio ops on a weekly TV show that used to air on KTVB , but now only on KSL, which if one has cable here can watch. Even with that think of the AyreWolvez Military Aviation Association, as bikers that can and do fly, or truckers that have wings. The radio station is the top of the mountain of what we have planned. Not letting everything out of the bomb bay doors yet, but know this, even though we are Confederate Aviators geographically challenged , we’ll manage. The benefits that we bring to not only the region but Idaho as well is people, companies and such that never looked to Idaho for anything outside of spuds, look much more closely from our eyes, since many come to meet in person, then look over what they did not consider before. In essence we open many doors. Even though we have our critics as well as detractors, we get traction to action for Idaho.

Operating without the LDS seal of approval

It might seem the ball and chain to a business in the Mountain West, that is not and refuses to meld or assimilate with the blessings of the LDS church. However be that as it may. The fact is I have many, many friends that are LDS, in fact one that was a mentor that runs the truck shop for Deseret Transportation an LDS Church owned company. Yet fact is too most of the headaches that AyreWolf Aviation and us in the AyreWolvez are having is that we are a bit more aggressive in both operation as well as most if not all of our marketing than most LDS and religious types would and/or can accept. But know this, 90% of you , our membership have seen death and danger direct in its face. Through combat missions, and even life itself. This fact came thundering in , through two outlets this past month. The first was the uncomfortable feelings that good old Cable-One had in running, much less producing the TV ads for both the club as well as both AyreWolf Aviation and HCC/Dixie Towing. AyreWolf FM as well as our OTA and online radio station will operate without concern of the burn of allegiance to LDS standards. I have read all too many of all the teachings of the church, I was once a member of the LDS church, until I saw the light and realized the lies that the church teaches, that flat is not the word of God, or his son Jesus Christ. When a church spends so much time worrying about its capital bottom line rather than teaching Gods words, then this is what I feel towards anything LDS>>> Yes we do operate without the LDS seal of approval, because we believe that there is a truer voice that needs to be spoken and we as the Knytes-of-Anarchy and the AyreWolvez speak that language. Three months and counting, plus know your product

Good morning Wolvez. Feeling a bit better, today but not out of the woods yet. Seems that the bamboo shoots I ate were at the heart of my ill feelings I was undergoing. The fever came from the fact the shoots were not fresh, so that and the fact that one got stuck in the small space where that tooth was extracted a year or so ago, and I got an infection, but I’ll make it. Just need  a few more days recovery. Remember this old Wolf is well OLD I don’t recover as well as I did a few years ago. Body is needing more and with earnings , good in fact better than most, still my personal income is not equal to my health care expenses. Despite what the UCSMC gives in benefits, still when I get sick it just takes time. Plus stress is no longer something I’m going to allow my brain to strain on. In fact if it gets complicated I’m delegating. That is giving XO responsibilities to those , much younger than I to do the dirty jobs. Okay then.

Only 3 more months to go and we as a group are getting the case of the giddies. Met with an IT consultant that will finish up the nitty gritties for the web site, then that goes of to Abacast then its launch in November right on schedule. OTA station will launch in February and we are even now getting a winking eye from FCC types that our TV efforts should be green by mid 2011. The LP signal that KTVB abandoned in July, is ours now, so watch for that. Did I say I was looking for a stress break? I have a associate that I met through dealings with RTV that we are looking to flying out here mid October to get a look over at this operation and he’ll be in charge of national sales, after his training period. Which means learning the product. And or products. Which is important. As I look over RTV which I do daily at 11:00 AM , since that is our local Airwolf hour weekdays and of course weekends at 16:00 hours, as well as 18:00 hours for BlackSheep Squadron. But here is my thoughts on knowing your products. If your going to air such TV shows, what about calling on firms that are into those shows. When its something aviation, what about going to the aviation community? Firms from Shorty’s Fly Shop, in Ohio to Bell Helicopters, to heck even our competition , warbird radio. Not to mention the giants, Lockhead Martin, McDonald Douglas . Heard from folks over at IRT, on the History Channel, IRT is hurting income wise. My question is, did the sales department think, to go to the major trucking suppliers that spend at a minimum of $250,000.00 a month on display ads in trucker publications? How about talking to say OOIDA and others in the business of representing and fighting for truckers? I heard the same moanings from Wrecked on the SpeedTV channel a few years ago. Did any of them go to the names in going towing? From Miller Industries who under its wings are Holmes, Century, amongst others? Did they go to WreckMasters, TRAA, and other training firms? I didn’t hear but chances are, no. Same thing as those at ESPN which thankfully runs NASCAR on weekends, but I think their bottom lines would improve if they went to some of those that spend $100,000.00 a week on the PowerBlock on Spike. Proctor and Gamble had the right idea years ago, they sold soap of every kind, then. The majority of those buying soap products like laundry soap, dish soap were women. So the concocted what got the name Soap Operas. They bought millions of dollars in day time advertising and created a sub culture. Now P&G makes all kinds of things, even are on NASCAR cars, but they knew their products, plus those that would buy their products and got down to targeting their buyers. The weekday early morning farm news program AGDAY, sells ad time to those producing products that farmers use. From seed to tractors. As such AG/DAY as well as now its sister program U.S. Farm Report that parent company Farm Journal Media bought from Tribune Media a part of the Chicago Tribune Newspaper, outfit. You see how this is going. All of these success stories are the result of firms, seeing their customers, knowing where those customers are watching and or hearing, and targeting their dollars there. Not just doing ROS advertising. That’s why you don’t see us here in the AyreWolvez on TV everywhere, since we target to those that are into what we are into. Until RTV , and Airwolf/BlackSheep Squadron, most of our marketing efforts were aimed at the Discovery Wings Channel that became the Military Channel. Which on occasion you’ll see our ads still. When the Dukes-of-Hazzard was on TV full time, so we were on the Dukes advertising both our shop here in Idaho locally and the club nationally. The list goes on and on, but to succeed in this treacherous business environment, you need to know where your customers are watching and or listening to, not just scattering your ad dollars on ROS schedules that will render little if any results.

I’m still quite yucky in the tummy so I’m doing a limited day today. I hope by weeks end I’m feeling better.

Despite their best efforts

Despite many of their attempts, the Wolf never gives up. More over the AyreWolvez never get grounded. The simple fact is there are way too many who know that this Wolf’s howl is real. You our members know what’s put down on these blogs is real. More over can be backed up a thousand times over in court if it needs to be, and most likely will be in weeks if not months ahead. I have yet to figure out though what the hell got in these folk’s craw , that would turn them against not only me , but you the members of both the Knytes as well as the AyreWolvez. Now if I had hurt someone , somehow, damaged property, raped or mutilated someone in either MHI, or Goon’s Ferry, then they might have something to bitch about. If their bitching was limited to just AssDogs blog I’d pass it over, but every time we set out to do something these folks seem to feel the need to get on the phone or something to throw a wrench in the fan. Especially that Anon6. Who the frack, goes by a sign on as Anon6? If I were hiding something as I’m always accused of, would I not just put up something with a Anonomouse Screen Name? But I put not only my own name up on most if not all my blogs, including phone number and even address.

In fact even if they call me a thief, which originated from one damn time I had a blonde moment and walked out of some stop & gas joint in Goon’s Ferry , without paying for it. Now granted on the surface that could be taken as shoplifting. Thing is at the time that happened, I was in the middle of trying to get moved to Gooding, plus organizing a photo project for the club. I just plain forgot to pay. Fact is the only time I did that intentionally , I also went back and paid for the damn snot nose concockshun. Fact is I do not steal. Hazzard folks don’t steal, and Hazzard runs through my veins thick as molasses. If I had snitched on purpose, the snot nose meds from the Stop&Gas in Goons Ferry, on purpose, don’t ya’ll think that I’d have been hauled in to the jail? Stealing medication of any sort is a Federal crime, its a felony. If I had intentionally snitched that $10.00 bottle of Nyquil, don’t the bastards think I would have just said yep I did it, did my time and go from there? But since I didn’t do that on purpose is why I fought it, and paid $300.00 for that medicine. Any mile it don’t matter none since I don’t live in Ignore County Idaho anymore, I don’t associate with anyone from Ignore County any more, and if I see someone from Ignore County , I walk on the other side of the road so we never have to meet. In fact if I see that someone from Ignore County apply for a job at one of the clubs companies, that’s an automatic disqualifier. If but if they want to keep stoking the coals, they and we know who THEY  are, they are going to get burned. But our attorney this morning told me as he looked things over for me to be patient, and that he would handle it. So I’m ignoring those from Ignore County. Next entry; finding a good breakfast in Buhl.

Not navigating too well today so taking the day off

I woke up at 02:00 this morning feeling like a drained battery. Took a measure of my temperature and found I was running a slight fever of 101, so decided maybe taking the day off except for making a phone call or two.

Got a jingle from one of Ignore County’s not so finest telling me to ignore the idiots. He said his office is looking into it. So we see what happens.
