There are always limitations in rural communities. Many if not all rural towns very seldom have the same perks or great places to eat that their bigger city type counterparts have. Thus Buhl albeit friendly and being as helpful as can be, still when it comes to grabbing a bite to eat is rather well limited. There are two places that are nothing more than a bar and a grill. Two taco Mexican food places, one grease spoon, two dives and one that is a real exception. PK’S Pasta Palace on Main in Buhl is a classy Italian style place that is busting its nuts to become a real class place. One that you really want to snag a tie and sport coat or at least white shirt to eat at. I had the Spaghetti and meatballs, that was good. Not great, because as a youth I was spoiled with food or Speget sauce that was so thick, you really used a spoon to finish. Mom’s Speget sauce was cooked at least two days in advance and really was out of this world. No one else could make Speget sauce that good, cept perhaps in Cecily itself. But here is a case where the limitations created a opportunity. Likewise KDXC (us) nothing else here might as well be us on the air here, right? But Thursday night I must have drove to at least all the other places in Buhl in search of a real meal. The Mexican joint’s soft-shell taco made me barf. The stuff at the OnePlace was yucky, Never mind the Grease spoon was just a , Don’t eat that concept, Did not want fast food and damn well did not want to haul my balls all the way to Twin.
With that said for once I’m really living. Not just existing. There is life beyond the TV and Internet, there is places to go here and things to do, and people who are so friendly, that its truly refreshing. Buhl always has been an Oasis in a desert but for me for once Buhl is more than a mirage. Buhl is a real treasure. Likewise there are so many hot female bods walking around here, I can just hardly contain myself. Oh yes there are the rural farming limitations and short minded here just as anywhere in the area, but that small minded attitude, is overshadowed by those that have seen the golden spoon pulled out of their mouths, and realize that unless they wake up the coffee is more than burnt its evaporated. Buhl has awakened at we here in both the Knytes and the AyreWolvez a for Profit organization in Idaho, legal with both a state and Federal tax number and resale permit is here to fly right along side this resurrection of a great erection called Buhl, Buhl is not Bull.
