Need can be a motivator. Consider this; was looking over the web to find a NaviComm to install in a T-37 that Tommy is restoring. The T-37 was pretty much a semi luxury aircraft of the USAF used to fly officers and diplomats from base to base. The T-37 and its sister the T-39 was part of a scrap pile just outside of HAFB that Tommy acquired. So there twuzz searching for this Navicomm but as usual the only one I found was in North Carolina. Out west here, nope. So for shits and giggles punched in aviation communications and avionics sales Idaho. No what? Not even one. Montana yes, Idaho , Utah ? None. Again idea is germinating in my brain, just because nobody doing it, don’t mean can’t do it or just because there ain’t don’t mean there can’t be. What about a avionics repair/sales company in Idaho. Granted in parts of Idaho , aviation sales is limited, because aviation is not that plentiful. But consider this as well. Before the Knytes and Jimmy and I did up a hot rod/custom show in this end of Idaho, outside of one itty bity show in Twin Falls once a year, there were few custom shows in other towns. Including both Buhl or Castleford. We did it and , yep now area rod & Custom shows all over the valley. A similar idea that Brian came up with at the lunch today at Anchors in Twin. This is abstract at best but its one of those things that asks the question , just because there ain’t don't mean there can’t be. He said if there is a gig like the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah , presented in the major part by actor , director Robert Redford, why could there not be such a thing at say Sun Valley, or even Twin. Encouraging Indy film productions in Idaho. Granted there is a major gap in population and the fact there is an international air strip in SLC, well shit the same thing is in Boise, so why couldn’t be a Idaho Film Festival? Or something like that? Dreams? Perhaps, but just like when I started going towing in 1978, there was maybe 5 , 7 different tow companies in the Tragic Valley, today, 25 with just about the same amount people, population wise. What I’m getting to is this, radio station, TV station, or aviation avionics/communications shop. Just because there ain’t , don’t mean there can’t be, the Knytes-of-Anarchy as well as us in the AyreWolvez, don’t think what is, we consider what can or could be, and then work to make it happen. Its called Hazzard County Enginuity.
