All of us as members of the AyreWolvez know what is needed to be done. We also know where we are going, The projects on the boards and so on. As it sits you as members of the AyreWolvez are now able to be soaring on your own. We have achieved most of our aims, along with knowledge of the duty assignments etc. However our grounded brothers in the Knytes-of-Anarchy, need me and so that being that, my efforts here on this is offline for a few months.
The radio station is beginning to concern me. The basic premise of the format of the station is part of that concern. If we were setting the flagship of the station in Utah or someplace more military based, my concerns would be moot at best. The fact that the flagship is launching from a more rural area, and the fact that Buhl is a stones heave from Hazzard means doing more directed at Hazzard, not so much in the ayre. There is a moving feeling in me that says a return to our roots is required. Too many memories of things Hazzard are beginning to fade, if not being deleted all together. An effort to get the Dukes back on TV, even in syndication is utmost in my mind. And from your comments on our Hazzard County USA blog, yours too. Then there is an idea of coaxing the powers that be another Hazzard, or Dukes movie should be made. Maybe a film done on us called Hazzard Knytes would be something to watch, expanding Hazzard from the foundation of the Dukes into more of the rest of Hazzard County. Of course too, has anyone followed up on doing a movie version of B.J. & The Bear? How about a film that combined both? Then there is the thought of building our future TV station project here based on things Hazzard County. Have we forgotten the idea we began probing when I resided in Goons Ferry? Of a new version of HEE/HAW? What about a rural TV station that runs TV shows based on rural living? In time creating a TV network for cable and or satellite called Hazzard County TV or say Confederate Star TV ? The thing is, is the drag to get even the most modest TV ad produced and considering we will most likely have to do it ourselves, means if we are buying pro TV gear , might as well make the thing more to offer to others, likewise put up our own TV station, for all who live in rural America, more over rural Idaho. The radio station both online as well as over the air, is the first step. But being as the radio station is going to be OTA, we can’t just focus on things military aviation, we need to expand that. What better way than a Hazzard County radio station, with an hour or two devoted to things military aviation restoration and flying? Last but not least, the elections are coming at us faster than a rushing comet. The CSA/CNP needs a media voice, Hazzard County/Confederate Star Radio can be that voice. I think ya’ll know where this is headed, so I’ll close for now, but I’ll be on our Hazzard County USA blog as well as on Dixie Diesel Tymez , keeping ya’ll up to date. Upon bringing this entry to the tarmac, lets get our radio station to the point that we can transition into a TV station that other TV stations cannot, or will not do what we need it. Like all things, its tyme for us as both AyreWolvez as well as Knytes, to yet blaze another trail that others fear or do not travel.
Reminder , the monthly meeting of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and AyreWolvez, this weekend.
More Thursday on DDT.
