There are hours and times that I try very hard to not think of things Hazzard County. Thinking maybe it’s time to move on. Yet there will be an occurrence like about 01:00 hours when I got a phone call from CJ, in Salt Lake City. Who told me, that if your going to be remembered , you should be remembered for what was started in 1981 and has propelled you and the club to where it is now. There are many times that I look and think it’ll be easy to just shove that old life of living in the fast lane in Hazzard, and even more so to forget spending 3 months in the Gooding County jail for doing 100 plus MPH through Hazzard’s main street. Even though the Gen Lee is no longer with me, but I am looking for a Charger to redoux that, as I still have the engine to my old Gen, in storage, even saying that I get rude reminders of the dayz in Hazzard. Not just LexiBelle, but when someone I knew then comes up to me and says where’s the General? Or when I get told by remote fans of the club who says, the old Hazzard name, and all ought to be revived. If not at least keep that alive. Then there are hours when I think of the pain, but then recollect the fun and all I think , nope going to keep it alive until I die. Although Dixie Towing by this time next year will be rebadged as BlackSheep Towing when HCC is brought to full throttle, but until then Dixie stays alive. More over as both us in the AyreWolvez Military Aviation Association the brother organization to the Knytes-of-Anarchy , aka Hazzard County Knytes but as the AyreWolvez soars to new heights and as the Knytes-of-Anarchy gets stronger, I will ask all of you to not forget our roots, lets never forget Hazzard County. With that in mind, how about us produce a Hazzard Nationals/DukesFest West, for the fall of 2011? Even going the distance of setting up a Hazzard County Store in the MVM? Lets call it the Cooter Store. Or something. More over lets see if there is still fuel of all things Hazzard, still ignitionable.
Let’s not forget Hazzard County.
