There’s an old saying, and I wish I had been the one that came up with it first, but the saying goes, If you have to ask , ya’ll wouldn’t understand. The jest of it is simply this. And I’ll repeat this, once in hopes to get it through some thick skulls, but I’ll try to keep it as short as I can. Back in mid 2008 after I had stupidly moved to the small Idaho town of Glenns Ferry in search of a nuke power plant that never happened, and in the course of rebuilding my side business of running a tow truck , I set out to regaining some of the connections of the Hazzard County Knytes. To my surprise only two or three members of the Hazzard County Knytes were still living in or around our original ground zero, in Hazzard(aka Hagerman) Idaho. Along with a host of other reasons, it was decided between our Utah as well as Idaho charter to begin digging the club out of so much rural and gaining some altitude in a more urban environment. So by November of 2008 the High Council as its called of the Hazzard Knytes met in Boise, and decided to rebuild under a new title or handle. By Christmas, the name reared its head through a TV show on FX called the Sons of Anarchy only in our case it being more directed towards big rig trick trucks, rather than being limited to custom road bikes, like Harley’s. It was in February that the decision was made and we took part of the original name of the group, Knytes, combined it with the word Anarchy, to us meaning , not being reverent with or to any government , except when the CSA was reconstructed. Or resurrected. While the word Anarchy has a ton of meanings to too many people, to us it simply means , being none conformists , rebellious, anti-establishment. With that said and I hear it all the time, that retaining the Hazzard County handle might gain us some points on the board, the problems are simply that outside of anyone taking the name Hazzard County serious beyond an old TV show, is that my name is not Cooter Davenport, although I like Cooter drive and own a tow truck in a moderately sized rural community, added to that , ye ole General Lee Dodge Charger, no longer sits outside the shop door as it once did here, since some jackass in Pocatello decided to have it crushed since I couldn’t get it out of storage in time. However if I could, I’d reconstruct the club back into things Hazzard, since not just me , but even Mirinda one of the very few women that are patched members said going Anarchy was going to be tough. I’d rename it in a white lightning second. But that decision is no longer my decision. To rename the club back into things Hazzard County would take the entire organizations approval, not to mention CBS/Viacom , and so on’s approval, I just cain’t do that. With that said, there is growing thoughts of making our militia that rolls as the Confederate Marines more visible and letting the Knytes run in stealth mode. Making the Confederate Marines the co-parent organization might make sense, and let that be the hovering body along with the AyreWolvez. But for now we just fly as the AyreWolvez Military Aviation Association and the Knytes-of – Anarchy, and hope we continue to gain the momentum we already have enjoyed. The Knytes – of – Anarchy, as it sits , combined with our four sibling groups is at just under 50,000 members nationwide, and Canada. 5,000 of that 50,000 are AyreWolvez members and we gained a new member from OKC. Yes Otis is the newest prospect member of the Wolf Pack of the AyreWolvez. But even with the name we still are fighting in all ways to resurrect and firmly establish the CSA.
Another brief reminder, the Knytes and AyreWolvez joint council meets this evening at 20:00 hours at the Wolfs Den, in Twin Falls. A CSA/CNP Rally planning is on the agenda. And that’s that on the Knytes-of-Anarchy versus the Hazzard County Knytes.
Keep it wings level
