Many asked last night at the reception for the viewing for Knytes founding President Jimmy Mac’s funeral, why the AyreWolvez were now looking into doing a major motion picture.
Consider this, and it is a good example. When Howard Stern was looking to expand his radio empire and make more people that had never heard his live syndicated radio show, know more and tune into his show, Howard commissioned a albeit small , but a film crew to create a movie based on his life and career. It was a 2-1/2 hour infomercial, that became a major motion picture. Called, “ Private Parts” Guess what, in less than a month Howard Stern’s popularity jumped into warp speed and his show gained nationwide exposure that most likely never would have occurred without the film. Okay then for us in the AyreWolvez, just weeks till we launch our web site and online streaming radio station and in April launching our OTA radio station, what better way to get some attention for our organization and the station’s than a full length motion picture, about us. Frame it like SOA, but instead of bikes, we fly. Instead of being the enemy of the alphabet soup, agencies, we are working for them, doing covert missions etc, using our exotic , futuristic aircraft. Agricultural aviators by day, airborne CIA operatives by night. Blend a bit of modern day NCIS, with some CSI, and a lot of the old story line of the original TV series, only instead of just one person, have 5 USMC Aviators that come home from IRAQ and get together to perform and serve their nation in a different role. Cast some extra steamy babes for a supporting cast as well as some love interests and you have one hellova movie. Focus in on the real projects and activities of our REAL Military Aviation enthusiasts/restoration,preservation organization, include scenes from the radio station etc, and you can just smell success. Plus , its a project that Jimmy wanted to do years ago, so why not do it for his honor as well as propelling us into better altitudes? Movie should begin filming in mid April to early May 2011, and be released in the fall of 2013. Who knows this may stimulate some into reviving the old TV series, and so on. Watch here for details.
On Jimmy, Jimbro’s family is taking the loss of him purtty bad. I’ll be here until mid day Monday then flying out early Tuesday right after the funeral. It was nice to see as many of you at the reception viewing, last night. I’m having a hellova time going to sleep. Being in a strange bed in a rather large city. The flight down was uneventful. Hope the return flight is the same Tuesday. Glad to see as many of you who brought your byrds, like I had in mind last night, a flyover Tuesday in honor of Jimmy will be done Tuesday.
