Sometimes your just stuck with what ya got

WOLFS LAIR PING1 A HOOKER TOW BLOG HEADER_thumb

Sometimes your just stuck with what ya got. Case-n-Point, tried to refyre one of our old blogs on Blogger, guess what? Nope can do. So if things seem a bit off kilter here , and directed towards more going towing than military aviation now ya’ll know why.

Until mid spring when I get back in the ayre, here I’ll be working within the arena of The Hazzard County Towing Association, more professionally known as the Rode Wolvez, the OTR/Towing professionals half of the Knytes of Anarchy. I will say this, the bullshit with all these free web blog sites will be done for mid December to early January since by then the online presence of The Knytes-of-Anarchy will all be on our own site. Controlled, managed and operated by all of the Knytes, including both the AyreWolvez and the Rode Wolvez.

Okay then a shift in operations. I met online with some of ya’ll and the comments and thinking are valid. But let’s look at things with a slight historical observance. The reason the radio station was created in the first place was to be the voice of the American Towing professional. While there are many media outlets including radio for OTR truckers, few if any are directed at us going towing.

Think of it this way, for every OTR trucker in most locations there are 3 emergency disabled vehicle technicians. There is a big, BIG difference between a tow truck driver and a EDVT. The EDVT, obeys the regulations, operates with ethics, and never ever sacrifices safety in exchange to just get the disabled vehicle hooked and in tow. I observed an incident the other day, that really troubled me. I went on a tow with my new associates. In doing so, once we were hooked, in transit, thing is while a few small things, these things comprimzed safety. First thing, no securing the vehicle in tow with ratchet tie downs . Even though in the jaws of the wheel-lift still, the wrong bump , would mean the vehicle in tow would be in the street, not still being towed. Possibly causing another wreck. Not good. Second failure to put on the tow tag lights. Although in a rural tow not such a bad thing, but we were in Twin Falls city at 17:30 hours. The public, especially the teen driving public is not too bright behind the wheel. While such things as a turn signal or stop light, might be seen on the rack, it would be a pee poor argument, should someone byte the ass of the vehicle in tow on the back of a tow truck. All a defendant would have to say is, I did not know which way the tow truck was turning or stopping. Yes it might take a few more seconds to put on the tie downs or tag lights, simple things can mean and make you look more professional and interested in public motoring safety rather than someone in a tow truck who does no give a shit. These are two of the kinds of things that separate the tow jockey and the EDVT . The RodeWolvez are the latter, the EDVT.

Any mile headed for bed, see ya’ll online from Fresno.
